Featured in Saracino 2023!

We are so excited to announce that we have been featured in Saracino’s 2023 magazine! What an amazing start for 2023.

 The New Year brings new opportunities and beginnings. A reason we have started our Yummiblog! Me (Kamelah) and mum (Mariama) thought it would be a nice way to connect with our fellow bakers and decorators, as well as our followers.

So yes, we have made it into Saracino’s 2023 magazine for our ‘Twisted Tales – Golidlocks’.

As some of you may know, we entered the 2022 Cake International’s Horror exhibit. Our Goldilocks was a Carnivore, porridge wasn’t on the menu, but Baby Bear was… However, we did not read the full guidelines for our entry. We were unaware that it had to be an ‘edible medium’ on the outside. We used fake eyelashes on our piece, and it resulted in our entry left unmarked. We did, fortunately receive amazing feedback from the judges. We will be giving next year’s Cake International our best shot!

We are ecstatic to be starting off the New Year as a part of Saracino’s 2023 Magazine! Happy New Year to all!
